The MacBook Pro is Apple's latest notebook and their first with Intel's new attempt at notebook dominance, the Core Duo. The new Macbook Pro is not much of a bump up from its predecessors, but it is a step in the right direction. The addition of Multi-Touch is a great new feature, even on a touchpad that's smaller than the one on the Air.

Apple has crafted another tasty offering in the form of the 17-inch MacBook Pro. The new Macbook Pro has a beautiful screen and comes loaded with useful software, MacBook Pro makes your ideas even more brilliant with a sharp, high-resolution screen. You have two choice, Choose the 15.4-inch with 1440-by-900-pixel or the 17-inch with 1680-by-1050-pixel digital display, both of them there is glossy and antiglare options.


The MacBook Pro has specification such as 2.4-GHz Core 2 Duo T7700 processor, the maximum 4GB of RAM, a 160GB hard drive, and nVidia's new top-of-the-line notebook graphics card, the nVidia GeForce 8600M GT. The Mac book Pro has no memory card slots and only three USB ports, also it comes configured with an ExpressCard/34 slot instead of the more versatile ExpressCard/54 slot.


Others feature of MacBook Pro are Bluetooth and 802.11n Wi-Fi, built-in cellular broadband is not an option. This notebook designed by Apple company with two FireWire ports to bring great performance on video editing system. Nice to have this notebook, Apple pegs it at 5.7 hours on one charge in his Battery. At 6.6 pounds and just 1 inch thick, the MacBook Pro is the lightest 17-inch notebook available.
